Clinical AI, head to head

125 side-by-side comparisons, each scored on the same published rubric and broken out dimension by dimension. Only tools that compete in the same category are compared, because a scribe total and an API total are different measurements that happen to share a scale.

Common questions

How these comparisons work

How are these comparisons scored?

Both tools are scored on the same category rubric — five dimensions worth 10 points each, published before the results. A comparison page shows every dimension for every category the two share, ordered by the size of the gap, so the number that decides your purchase is visible rather than buried inside a total.

Why can I not compare any two tools on this site?

Because the rubric is category-specific, two tools are only comparable where they compete on the same one. 125 of the possible pairings among 37 tools share at least one category; the rest have no comparable evidence here, and inventing a shared scale for them would produce a number that looks precise and means nothing.

Does the higher total always win?

No. Totals are the sum of five dimensions weighted equally, and almost no buyer weights them equally. A tool two points behind on the total is frequently four points ahead on the one dimension that is disqualifying for a given practice, which is why every comparison table is ordered by gap size rather than presented as a verdict.

Every tool also has a standalone review listing all 50-point scores it holds across the 11 categories. Browse all 37 tools.
